I scroll. I read. And then I roll my eyes.
- Every tech-related thing is ‘cutting edge.’
- All readers are ‘voracious.’
- Most writers have a ‘flair for writing.’
- AI and bitcoin-related predictions are ‘disruptive.’
- Almost every #foodporn caption is ‘lip-smacking.’
- Experienced LinkedIn folks have a ‘demonstrated track record.’
- Every other online marketer is a ‘digital nomad.’
- The advice some leader got was ‘life-changing.’
Great! Now it’s time we get over clichéd stuff and start using our brains. We were meant to be a little creative, weren’t we?
The first step could begin by using new words. Or by using simple, non-pretentious words. Only because certain words aren't banned doesn’t mean you should use them.

Thank you.
